Credits

- Header logo - This logo I created myself from various pictures of paintings.

- A Lady of Fashion, Album of Styles and Fabrics by Barbara Johnson - based on an original 18th century scrapbook with lovely original copies of swatches and notes from the original book. An expensive book to buy but worth it!
- What Clothes Reveal by Linda Baumgartan - A great well researched book with photographs of original clothing and a lot of information.
- Patterns of Fashion 1660-1860 by Janet Arnold - A must have book for re-enactors who are advancing their costume tailoring skills or just want to be adventurous!
- Costume Close-up Clothing Construction and Patterns 1750-1790 (Published by Colonial Williamsburg Foundation ISBN 0-89676-226-2
- Fitting and Proper by Sharon Ann Burnston, Historical Clothing from the Collection of the Chester County Historical Society ISBN 1-88065-10-1) - Wonderful book with patterns for the re-enactor.

- FASHION The collection of the Kyoto Costume Institute, A history from the 18th-20th century by Taschen - Lovely pictures! A great source for costume inspiration.
- Revolution in Fashion 1715-1815 by the Kyoto Costume Institute
- Costume in Pictures by Dr. Phyliss Cunnington 1964 - An old book but has some valuable information to be more correct in reenactment circles. She tells you when (general time period) men wore cravats or women wore caps in the 18th century.

Gustafs Skål
Gustafs Skål is a large reenactment society that get together for annual activities and events like having dinners, picnics and other events in historical surroundings.

Gustaf III's Wänner
Gustaf III's Wänner is a group of friends who love the Gustavian time period and get together to travel have picnics and dinners in historical surroundings.

A very nice website that is related to Gustaf III's Wänner and works as a site with articles, recipes, tips, links, a buy and sell area, private pictures from events and much more.

Bellmanssällskapet
Bellmanssällskapet is for everyone, young and old. As a member you can help to spread the interest in Bellman and his compositions. In Swedish, Danish, English, French and Italian.

Fersenska sällskapet
Fersenska sällskapet's goal is to maintain information, facts and events in relation to the Fersen family.   The main focus is around Count Hans Axel von Fersen life. This website is run by a few members of Gustafs Skål. In Swedish and English.

Jakobsbergs Gårds Vänner
Jakobsbergs Gård is a beautiful 18th century manor house, it is centrally located among comfortable surroundings and is only a 5 minute walk from the Bredäng subway station. The Jakobsbergs Gård Friends group helps the manor house in different ways. Information about renting the manor house for weddings, baptisms, courses and conferences can be found on their website. In Swedish and a little English.

Kong Frederik den IV's Tambourafdeling af 1704
Kong Frederik den IV's Tambourafdeling af 1704 was founded in February of 1997 and is an independent group with the purpose of illustrating what life was like in Fredrikstads fortress at the beginning of the 18th century. In English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Norwegian.

An American organization about fashion and costume history, among other things it has a good online bookstore in cooperation with Amazon.com. In English.
